Templates

RINT offers a set of predefined templates that can be selected when creating a request action! 

This makes it easier and speeds up repeated work since the template pre-populates fields.

The pre-populated fields available are: URL, Method, headers, Body, and Description.

How to define / update a template?

Go to the folder icon at the left menu bar.

The image show the pre-populated templates.

Add a new Category

Fill in the name of the category and press Add Category.

The category is a container of templates.


Update Template

Navigate to the template you want to update and update the fields then press Update.

Create new template

Click the "New Action Template" button, this will prompt you with the form below.

Enter the details and click Create. As soon as the template is available it will be shown in the usage dropdown when creating a request action.

How to use a template

Press Create button on the top left corner to create a request action.

Once prompted with the create screen, the Template Category and Request Template is available.

  1. Select the Category that contains the template that the request will be based on. 
  2. Select the Template that the request will be based on.
  3. Click Create, Done!
