Protected Collection Field

The protected collection field allows you to add encrypted custom option fields to your projects.

You specify the how the field appears and what options to show. This is specified on field context level or on project specific level.

Available render modes: (how the field is displayed)

  • Select List (Single select, default)

  • Select List (Multiple selections allowed)

  • Checkboxes (Multiple allowed)

  • Radion buttons (Single selection allowed)

Options:

  • Comma separated list of options

Setup the protected collection field

Add a protected collection field to your project as you would normally do for custom fields.

Project specific settings

Click the “Protected Fields” menu item on your project page. See https://rixter.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PF/pages/1082523663

Click the “Configure Rendering” from the “Render Options” column for the protected collection field you want to edit.

 

A popup will appear

 

Choose the type of rendering you want for your field

Fill in a comma separated list of alternatives for this field.

 

Note: Project specific settings for this field will override any existing context specific settings for this field.

You will find the Render Options on top of the permissions settings for the context level settings for this field.

Edit Render Options as described above.

Bulk edit works when at least one issue has a PF value, if there is no issue with PF value the select list in Bulk Edit will show up as empty.
